A Trial Bereavement Clinic is being launched in this surgery from 23rd November 2017.
If you are struggling following a death
Or
Trying to manage your feelings while living with someone who has a terminal illness please register your interest.
If you have an appointment with your G.P or Nurse/Practitioner then mention it to them.
Or
Tell the receptionist yourself and they can book you in with our Bereavement Specialist Sue Kehoe.
You will have an initial one-off 2 hour appointment with Sue. A follow up appointment will then be booked in, if that is required, this may be in the surgery or a telephone call from Sue. When your consultations have been completed you will be asked to complete a simple data form.
Your G.P will be kept informed, by Sue, of your attendance at the clinic.
This service is for over 18 years and not suitable for patients who have pre-existing severe mental illness or have active addiction problems such as drugs and alcohol.
It is not a counselling service it is for support and advice.
Clinics are being run every Thursday.
